Lots Going on in the US This Fall: US Market Events and Activities Scheduled for Fall 2022

After a long two plus years, it was nice to return to Whistler and see all the fabulous folks in person at this years GBM, WoodTALKS and Building Connections events. The energy at the events and on the show floor was excellent and people seemed genuinely happy to be meeting with people face to face. Thanks to BC Wood members and Buyers from across the globe for once again supporting this years event.

As we move into the fall, the US market development program has a number of high quality activities that will help connect you with buyers and decision makers and lead to increased sales opportunities.

In Late October, BC Wood and member companies will participate in the Bond Custom Home event in San Diego, similar to BC Wood’s Building Connections in Whistler. The Bond event directly connects manufacturers with builders and architects from across the Western United States who focus on the high-end custom home and resort home sector.

Immediately following Bond, we will once again return to San Diego to participate in the Multi Family ProCONNECT event. Like Bond, this event consists of direct meetings with key buyers and influencers but with a focus on the growing multi-family sector in the United States. At ProCONNECT, BC Industry will meet with builders, developers, and owners of multi family and light commercial construction projects from across North America.

In early November, BC Wood will participate in the Industrialized Wood Based Construction Conference (IWBC) as part of the Greenbuild event in San Francisco, California. This is a good opportunity for manufacturers of mass timber and engineered wood products to meet with buyers and specialists in this sector. It also provides a good opportunity for manufacturers who actively promote their products to influencers in the “green and sustainability” space.

Finally, BC Wood and member companies will participate in the NAWLA Traders Market, Nov 9 -11 in Phoenix Arizona. As with the GBM, we are expecting a strong contingent of BC manufacturers at this years Traders Market. Along with a BC Wood products pavilion, BC Wood will organize and coordinate shipping of tradeshow booths and samples to and from this year’s event for member companies.
