A few comments, suggestions, and ideas…
As we all try to navigate our way through the new ways we conduct business, we find yet another trade event that is going virtual. It took a long while, but the International Builders Show (IBS 2021) has finally announced that the event originally scheduled February 9 -12 in Orlando is to be held completely online. The event snappy new title is IBS X and show organizers are expecting an online crowd of over 60,000 attendees and 750+ virtual exhibitors if all goes to plan.
BC Wood has been a long-term participant at IBS going back to 2001, and the event has a proven track record of producing strong sales opportunities for our Industry. As such we are seriously considering participating at this years virtual event with a BC Wood pavilion where participants will be able to meet with architects, builders and decision makers from across North America, Caribbean and according to show organizers regions as far flung as South America and Japan. We are still working through the details of the virtual event but here is a short promo video produced by the National Association of Home Builders. More information will be forth coming as we refine our participation at IBS X.
