JC Lee, BC Wood’s Korean representative, attended the opening ceremony of the Chuncheon Wood Industrial Complex on July 5th, 2023 and had a meeting with Chairman Han KwangHo, Director Oh SeungRyong as well as other on the administration team.
At the meeting, JC Lee introduced BC Wood as well as the 20th anniversary Global Buyers Mission. The Chuncheon Wood Cooperative Chairman Mr. Han expressed interest in the GBM and said he hopes to encourage its members to participate in the GBM while also cooperating with BC Wood for the sustainable development of the wood industry in both Korea and Canada.
The Chuncheon Wood Cooperative, which consists of about 50 members, including wood importers, distributors, builders, designers, architects and academia, opened a wood industrial complex in Chuncheon with a total of 7 billion won, including government and local government subsidies and private investments.
Chairman Han KwangHo runs the San E&C Architecture Office, which specializes in architectural design, construction industry management, and safety issues. The company was founded in the 1990s and has about 100 architectural staff.
Director Oh SeungRyong runs Samsung Home Center, a major company that distributes building materials.
