BC Wood and member companies just returned from a successful Building Connections mission and meetings event in the State of Hawaii. The event was capped off with an Aloha Friday networking event on the Big Island where over 45 builders, architects and project managers from the Kona region gathered to meet and network with the 6 member companies participating. Overall a very fun, informative and solid sales lead generating mission.
As an example of the value of a strategic approach to this market, the group had the pleasure of touring the new One Hotel project in Princeville Hawaii. This stunning project is situated on the idyllic Honolai Bay with gorgeous views of the ocean and surrounding mountains. We first heard of this project at the 2019 Building Connections at the GBM in Whistler, where we met with the invited folks from Layton Construction. Fast forward to today and we had the pleasure of seeing the beautiful work our member company Fraserwood Industries delivered. The entrance to the hotel, the “Porte Cochere” or covered vehicle entrance, was all manufactured by Fraserwood on site in Squamish, then shipped to Kauai for assembly at the One Hotel. All this took place during the Pandemic, but they managed to complete the project and as you can see, the finished product is very impressive.
This project and numerous other high quality residential and commercial projects across the State are the result of our strategic approach of developing relationships through Building Connections in the Hawaii market.
