Case Group was founded by Professor Kang Tae-woong of the Department of Architecture of Dankook University. It is the first comprehensive construction company in Korea established as a university subsidiary. The company produces panelized wooden houses, builds and sells premium wooden housing complexes, and sells small modular homes online.
The premium wooden housing complex “Yongin Maple Village” under construction by Case Group is to be completed in 2024, with a total of 34 households, including 14 duplexes. It has been recognized by the Canadian federal government for Super-E Wooden Low Energy Certification in all of the units.
Professor Kang Tae-woong participated in BC Wood’s Canadian resort construction seminar and said that he is especially interested in joining BC Wood’s Global Buyers Mission this year. He also hopes to participate in the WoodTalks program to learn more about Canada’s advanced wooden structures and building materials.
