Earlier this year, BC Wood developed an all-new online program for the Korean market that allowed participating companies to reach new potential customers without leaving home. Based on the tremendous success of this first run, we will now offer the same opportunity in the Japanese market.
“Client Direct: Japan” will be a two part match-making program that leverages our in-market staff and the power of online meetings. The Zoom Webinar based event will offer participating members the opportunity to introduce their products to an audience of importers and distributors that we recruit from our database of over 18,000 Japanese industry professionals. Simultaneous translators will be hired for this event so that the members can speak normally without interruptions, while getting their message across clearly.
After each member has given their company overview, they will then take part in a panel discussion to further show their expertise and make a connection with the audience. Unlike other such online programs, Client Direct: Japan will be limited to a small number of Canadian participants so that the members can make a memorable impact on the audience. For the second part of this program, BC Wood will ask the Japanese buyers which companies they would like to hold one-on-one Zoom meetings with and we will host and translate those.
