Sitka Log Homes remains an
original family operated
business.Owner and operator,
John Johnson, has been building
log homes in the southern
Cariboo region of British
Columbia since 1969, one of
the first in the area to build log
homes. What began as a
personal interest has become a
large industry.
Johnson's hometown of 100 Mile
House, BC now holds the title of,
"The Handcrafted log home
building capital of North America".
Our products also go international.
At the 2006 Olympic and
Paralympic Winter Games in Turin,
Italy, Sitka Log Homes designed
and built BC Canada Place.
Thousands of people toured the
home throughout the games.
