Pioneer Log Homes has been hand-
crafting log homes in
Williams Lake, BC since 1973.
Bryan Reid Sr. founded the
company after he decided to build his
own home. Since then it has become
a family business and like any

family, it has grown. Pioneer Log
Homes operates three building sites
in the Cariboo Chilcotin Region of
BC to serve the market worldwide.

Each log is hand-peeled using a
drawing knife and strategically
placed into your custom designed
structure. We incorporate timber
joinery that will last for generations
to come. Walk through any door of
a Pioneer Log Home, and you'll see
more than a post and beam
structure or Timber frame log
home. Stairs, rails and even
carvings are specialties of ours. Or
take a stroll to the back yard and
take a moment to sit in a Gazebo.
